We are Kita Therapy, a relationship-focused therapy space.
At Kita Therapy, children, adults, and families are at the heart of everything we do. Through speech therapy, occupational therapy, and music therapy, we partner with individuals and families to help the person grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. Our team provides evidence-based care designed to connect, equip, and empower.

Speech Pathology
Speech therapy supports individuals with swallowing difficulties and communication disorders, including difficulties with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading, writing, social skills, stuttering and using voice.

Music Therapy
Music therapy is a research-based practice in which music is used to actively support people as they strive to improve their health, functioning and well-being. Music therapists incorporate a range of music-making methods within and through a therapeutic relationship to address individual client goals.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps people of all ages develop or regain the skills needed for daily activities and independence. By focusing on physical, cognitive, and environmental challenges, occupational therapists provide personalized solutions to improve quality of life.

Telehealth Therapy
Kita Therapy has a special interest in tapping into music’s unique ability to help build therapeutic relationship and help the individuals express feelings, without words.

Community Visits
We offer community visits to homes, schools, and other community settings to support with generalising of therapeutic goals into meaningful settings. Travelling charges are dependent on the distance from the clinic to the location.

Group Therapy
Kita Therapy is currently in the process of planning various music therapy groups, and we are hoping to launch some of these groups as soon as possible.

Pre-Kindy Screening
Speech and language screening is a very effective way to identify their strengths and difficulties in their speech and language development. It identifies children who require further in-depth speech pathology assessment.

Flash Appointment /Consult
A moment to check in. This is available for speech therapy and music therapy.
